The Fall cour (October to December) is always one of the busiest of the year, and 2026 is no exception. Here's the shape of the season, the shows people are most excited about, and where to find them. For live countdowns and every single title, open the Fall 2026 chart.

Manga adaptations lead the way (40), followed by light novels (23) and originals (15). On the streaming side, Crunchyroll lists the most shows by a distance, with Netflix, HIDIVE and Prime Video each carrying a smaller slate. The Apothecary Diaries Season 3
The pharmacist-detective series returns for a 12-episode cour from OLM, adapted from the light novels. It started on 2 October and streams on Crunchyroll and Netflix. A separate film, The Apothecary Diaries: The Late Lady's Treasure, is listed for Japanese cinemas on 11 December.
Black Clover Season 2
Studio Pierrot's fantasy adaptation is back after a long break, with new episodes since 3 October. It's on Crunchyroll, plus official Bilibili TV and iQIYI streams in parts of Asia.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2
TRIGGER returns to Night City with a 10-episode series based on the video game. AniList lists the premiere for 20 October on Netflix, which has announced the show; the page isn't live yet, so it shows as "soon" on our chart.
Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2
C2C's light-novel fantasy is back for 12 episodes and streams on HIDIVE and Prime Video, with official options in Asia too.
Blue Box Season 2
The sports romance continues from Electric Circus, streaming on Netflix.
STEEL BALL RUN JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
david production's adaptation continues with its next 11-episode stage, released weekly on Netflix.
