Who we are

NextCour (nextcour.com) is run from the Netherlands by Jarno Stoffer, the controller for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@nextcour.com. Full contact details are in the legal notice.

What we process, and why

Visiting the site

NextCour is a static website hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare may process this data outside the EEA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Your browser doesn't contact AniList or any other data source while you use NextCour: the season data is built into the pages in advance.

Preferences stored in your browser

We store a few settings in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. They never leave your device and we can't see them. Because they're needed for features you ask for, they don't require consent.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the weekly newsletter, we process your email address to send it, based on your consent (art. 6(1)(a)). Sign-ups aren't open yet; this section will name the email provider when they are. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes you from the list. You need to be 16 or older to subscribe.

Advertising

NextCour doesn't show ads or set advertising cookies at the moment. If that changes, we'll ask for your consent first and update this page.

Analytics

We don't use analytics cookies. If we add privacy-friendly statistics later, they'll either set no cookies at all or ask for your consent first.

Who receives data

Only the services named on this page, each for its own purpose: Cloudflare (hosting). We don't sell personal data, and we don't have accounts, profiles or tracking of our own.

Children

NextCour is a general-audience site and isn't aimed at children. In the Netherlands you need to be 16 to give consent for cookies and the newsletter yourself; if you're younger, ask a parent or guardian first. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we'll delete it.

Links to streaming services

When you follow a link to a streaming service, that service's own privacy policy applies. Affiliate links (marked aff) let the service know the visit came from NextCour; see the affiliate disclosure.

Your choices and rights

You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time: . Under the GDPR you also have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Email us and we'll respond within a month.

If you think we're handling your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or the authority in your own country.

Retention

Hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare for a limited period under its policies. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Browser preferences stay until you clear your browser storage.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
